Your sister has passed away. On her will, she's left the house in the care of her family- You included. However, your parents refuse to change a thing. All they do is clean the place and put up pictures of her. Withering flowers are immediately replaced, and couches remain untouched. The teaset forever on display. 

One day, after another argument with your parents. You storm out. At least you think you did. You step through the door but find yourself right at the beginning of the hallway again—this damned hallway. You storm out the door again but like before. You find yourself exactly where you started. The door behind you is refusing to open again. And that wardrobe wasn't open last time...

Description

OUT OF PLACE is a short, 2D spot-the-difference horror game set in a single Hallway.  Inspired by more popular titles like I'm On Observation Duty and Exit 8. Play as a mourning sibling and walk through the house your sister left behind. Each time you reach the end, you turn up again right at the beginning. And something is always... off. You swear you left that cupboard closed, that the painting was different. You can't quite place your finger on it. But there's one thing you know for sure. You’re alone. At least you’re meant to be.  Find objects missing or... changed and figure out what's off before you lose your mind. Before you're stuck in here forever.
